• Since the weather is getting cooler, please practice with your child getting on & off his/her sweatshirt, and buttoning & zippering his/her jacket or coat.

• Please no candy for lunch or snack.  Send in only (1) snack and drink for our morning snack time.   
• Send your child to school with all the requested supplies.  Crayons should only be (8) primary color regular size crayons.
• Empty out the “Homework” folder every day and the “Test” folder (if provided on Tuesday), and keep all material in the “Study” folder.
• Keep the “Homework Agenda” in the “Homework” folder every day as a means of back-and- forth communication between us.
• Send in several bookmarks to keep in the books used in school, if you have not done so already.
• Please be diligent in following the penmanship strategies given.  “If you say it, you can write it!”  Please look at each letter and number strategies and repeat it with your child when completing the homework.

 We will be celebrating Halloween in school on Friday October 31.  More info to follow!!   

• We will be asking every child to contribute (1) small treat to place in our painted goody bags.  There are 25 children in the class.  Please do not write the names of each child on the treats.  It is appreciated if you could send the treats in as early as possible, but no later than October 27 to allow time for us to distribute into the children’s goody bags.
