We use Google Classroom VERY OFTEN. Students must know how to access and login at school.
Our Schedule
Religion - 9:40 to 10:35
Lunch - 11:30-12:05
Recess - 12:05-12:35
Gym - Thursdays - 8:50 to 9:35
Sign Language - Mondays 8:50 to 9:35
Music - Tuesdays 8:50 to 9:35
Art - Wednesdays 8:50 to 9:35 (September to January)
Reminders:
1. Backpacks with wheels ARE NOT ALLOWED. Please send your child to school with a standard backpack. It is VERY DANGEROUS for students to be transporting these backpacks to and from the second floor.2. Our School day begins at 7:50am - dismissal is 2:30pm
3. All parents and guardians MUST write a note if your child is being dismissed different then normal routine - ex: grandparents/family member picking up, aftercare, not taking the bus etc.
4. Children are allowed to have a RESUSABLE water bottle in school throughout the day. Please only send water in a spillproof container. STANLEY OR OTHER METAL WATER BOTTLES are NOT allowed
5. Please adhere to the uniform policy that can be found in the "handbook" section of our website. Students are allowed to wear their gym uniforms on Yoga and Gym days only.
6. We love to celebrate birthdays in class! Students are welcome to bring in a treat to celebrate their birthday with their classmates. Parents please email me at least one week prior to your child's birthday so that we can plan something together. Summer birthdays will be celebrated during the month of June.
7. Please email me with any questions or concerns you may have during the school year - [email protected]. Please understand if you are emailing me during school hours I will get back to you within 24 hours.
8. Please get into the habit of checking and reviewing your child's grades regularly on the FACTS website. In addition all assessments are returned home in our "Tuesday Test Folder". Parents MUST sign and empty out the folder every Tuesday when it comes home. Please send it back on Wednesday mornings. -

Test schedules are ALWAYS announced the Friday before the week begins. Review sheets for most assessments will also be posted on Google Classroom to ensure plenty of time to study :)

For the Week of March 30thHomework Policy: Homework must be completed every night. All assignments are checked and reviewed the following day during class time. Each child starts the quarter with a "100" in each subject area for homework. For each missed homework 5 points are deducted from the homework grade*. From time to time homework assignments are also collected and graded to ensure understanding and mastery.
We are NOT copying homework during class time. Please use this website OR Google Classroom for Daily homework assignments
*** An increasing number of students have been leaving early lately. I ask if you are going to sign your child out early that you please DO IT BEFORE 1:30pm and PLEASE email me or call the school in advance. Additionally, any work your child misses due to early dismissal is their responsibility to make up. Please be aware that we switch for ELA in the afternoon until 2:00pm. Thank you!***
